Why Consignment?

Compared to resale shops that offer 15% of the selling price, cash upfront, Clothing Exchange pays 40% of the selling price when the item(s) sell.  Many of our consignors bring in their "gently worn" items as they lose or gain weight, change jobs and need a new wardrobe, or simply love shopping and need to rotate their closets. Our consignors love consigning their items and then shopping with their in-store credit after their items sell. It's a great way to update your wardrobe and keep your closets cleared out. 

How Consignment Works

Clothing Exchange displays your items on the sales floor for 90 days. As your items sell, you will receive 40% of the selling price on your account. You can use the money on your account for store credit or you can receive the balance of your account in cash or check.

Making the Most of Your Items

The better your items look when you bring them in, the faster they will sell! So take the time to make sure items look up to their full potential.

Below is a list of requirements for items we will accept:

• ALL CLOTHING MUST BE BROUGHT IN ON HANGERS! DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS WE ARE UNABLE TO ALLOW CONSIGNORS TO HANG THEIR ITEMS AFTER COMING IN THE STORE.
• We only accept in-season items; however, jeans and pants, as well as T-shirts for juniors and young men are accepted year around.
• Make sure all items are clean, pressed and free of any odors, pet hair, missing buttons or holes. Please cover your items with a bag after washing if they will be around smoke.
• Items must be within 2 years of current fashion.
• We only accept name brand and designer brand clothing. No clothing from discount stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, Old Navy, Cato,etc.   
• We accept up to 25 items a week per person.  
• We accept consignments 6 days a week, Monday thru Saturday, from 10am to 5pm.
